Members will seek
to ensure that the levels of artificial colours and other additives
are minimised to ensure they comply with all labelling and
compositional requirements.

Members must
allow access to the premises, including the kitchen area to any
Environmental Health or Trading Standards Officer at all reasonable
times. Note that these visits may be unannounced.

All recipes,
details of ingredients, cooking methods etc. must be supplied to an
officer of this department upon request. These details must be
disclosed promptly and truthfully.

Samples of meals
and/or ingredients must be supplied on request and must be an
accurate representation of the food used or produced.

Samples of meals
and/or ingredients may be taken for analysis prior to and during the
period of membership.

Failure to comply
with other Trading Standards legislation or hygiene regulations may
cause your membership to be cancelled.

Membership is
currently free and no charge will be made for any analysis of samples taken in
pursuance of this agreement. In the future it may be self-financing
and a charge may be made.

Members will be
allowed to display a certificate confirming membership.

Failure to comply
with the code will result in termination of membership by Surrey
County Council Trading Standards Department and consequently the
right to display the certificate of membership. Continued display of
such material after termination may result in legal action.

The Trading
Standards Department will strive to keep members informed of the
current legal requirements and any relevant changes in legislation.

The Trading
Standards Department will answer any relevant queries and give
advice on request. This will apply to all legislation enforced by
the Department.
